Ransack Dance Company is a dance theatre company based in Pontypridd, Wales.
The Ransackers use risk taking athletic contemporary dance interspersed with poetic subtlety to tell our stories. Our work explores the totality of theatre, merging live movement, music, film and narrative, encouraging audiences to think and feel.
Ransack Dance are committed to producing high quality dance theatre productions, and making work that is accessible, engaging and thought provoking to people of all ages, experiences and backgrounds.
We are also dedicated to providing unique training opportunities for young people, adults and working professionals, creating a supportive, collaborative environment for artists at all levels to build skills, form creative partnerships, and create high quality dance theatre work.

Our Mission Statement
To inspire and empower socially and economically disadvantaged communities in Wales to engage in the creation of vibrant and shared professional dance theatre experiences as audiences and participants; developing new dance audiences through a feeling of ownership and belonging.
Ransack Dance Company are associated organisation with community dance organisation Artis Community/YMa, based in Pontypridd, where we are developing as a resident dance company. We are working with the organisation to strategically grow a unique programme of dance provision that branches between professional performance and community dance.
