Ellie graduated from LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) in 2022 where she studied dance and musical theatre. Subsequently she joined Ballet Cymru 2, working with Marcus Jarrell Willis, Darius James OBE and Sanea Singh before completing JV2 with the Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company. Ellie’s freelance credits include multiple R&D creation periods with independent artists, numerous dance film projects (a highlight being choreographing and dancing for The The’s World Tour: ‘The Ensouled’) and a UK tour with Welsh National Opera. Ellie also dances for Rebelo Dance Company (André Rebelo), Amy Foskett Dance Company and Autin Dance Theatre. As well as performing, Ellie is an enthusiastic teacher and community dance practitioner with a special interest in dance for older generations and dance for those living with Parkinson’s. Ellie joins Ransack Dance Company following her participation as an independent artist in our ‘Explore’ training programme with YMa, Pontypridd, involving R&D rehearsals and performance sharing of our new performance piece for children. She will also join the cast of our touring production ‘Us and Them’, planned for retouring in spring 2027.
